Location & Service Hours:

  1. You can book appointments Monday at Under-Livet, in Kjelsåsveien 174, inng B 0884 Oslo. 

  2. You can book appointments between Tuesday & Saturday (offer varies) in the Majorstua Private Studio in Jacob Aalls gate just one block away from Bogstadveien & Kirkeveien. Number & details to the studio available at the time of booking. 

  3. Office Hours: Monday -Friday 09:30 - 16:30

  4. Service Hours: Monday 10-15 & 17-19, Tuesday-Friday variable availability, Saturday 9:00-18:00 (only one saturday per month)

  6. For Home Visits, you must request on the system & wait for confirmation. 

  7. Office hours refers to the time when I am available to answer messages & send information online. Even though I put all my energy on this work, I have small children, too. My service hours are fixed for Under-Livet but variable for Majorstua. My schedule is very booked so do consider booking in advance. 

 

General Terms & Conditions of Service ​

  1. At the time of booking, you must provide complete information for my records. Failure to do so may result on the booking being denied. 

  2. All sessions must be paid at the time of the appointment. For more on bookings read more here.

  3. Need to cancel or re-book? Please read the Cancellation Policy Segment Below.

  4. For the safety of all parties involved, sessions with Kate Brinch Sand at The Milk & Oil Company are done exclusively by referral (family, friends, IMOBAGO).

  5. If you do not have a referral you & book online, you need to provide all personal details requested & advanced payment. If the billing information is incomplete or the payment is not received prior to your visit, the session cannot be guaranteed.

  6. The Milk & Oil Company is a personal business. The sessions are strictly of professional nature. Please save yourself any embarrassment by not asking for any sexual favors.

  7. Any sexual advances or innuendo will be reported to the authorities.

  8. Any aggressive behavior will be cause enough to deny further services. 

  9. The Milk & Oil Company & Kate Brinch Sand reserve the right to cancel any service in the case of any disrespectful or illegal act including, but not limited to, informal propositions, illegal activity, if the client is inebriated, intoxicated or shows signs of having consumed any drugs.

  10. Please read all the information provided to you in this website & by email when you purchase any package or membership. The Milk & Oil Company (Kate Brinch Sand) works under full transparency & all services, limitations & cancellation polices have been addressed on the website.

Cancellation Policy & Re-Booking

 

​Cancelling a session:

  1. Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 24hrs before the time of the session. Paid sessions will be refunded in full. 

  2. Cancellations up to 2 hours before the appointment will incur in a fee of 300 kroner for administration purposes. Unpaid sessions will receive an invoice or Vipps request for the amount due, which must be paid within 7 days. Paid sessions will be refunded in full minus the 200 kroner fee.

  3. Cancellations under 2 hours before the appointment will incur in a full charge. Unpaid sessions will receive an invoice or Vipps request for the amount due, which must be paid within 7 days.

  5. Missed appointments will incur the full cost of the session, either by not refunding a prepaid appointment or by invoicing the full amount to the client who will have to pay the fee within seven days.

  6. Multiple cancellations may incur in denied appointments.

  7. Because motherhood is unpredictable, pregnant mothers & mothers with babies under 12 months & children of barnehage ages may reschedule or cancel last minute up to two consecutive times, free of charge. The third booking must be paid in advance & it must take place as booked. A third consecutive cancellation will incur in the full cost of the session.

​Re-booking a pre-paid session:

  1. Rebooking is possible under special conditions & emergencies.
  2. Re-booking less than 24hrs from the appointment will incur a fee of 200 NoK. If you are a mother with a baby under 12 months, please read the special considerations on the postpartum or pregnancy terms & conditions of service.

** Temporary measures in Place Suspect Covid? Showing Symptoms? Suddenly Quarantined? Have you or a close relative been exposed? You may cancel or postpone free of charge. Please remember that I work with a lot of new and pregnant mothers, and though fully vaccinated I prefer to see you a week later, in order to ensure all my clients safety. Please send me an email even minutes before the appointment. I will take you for your word.

Refunds & penalties.

  1. Cancellations with 24hrs notice will be fully refunded.

  2. Cancellations less than 24 hrs from the appointment but up to 2 hours before will incur in a 300 Nok fee either deducted from the pre-paid amount or billed by Vipps or Invoice.

  3. Cancellations less than 2 hours from the appointment will not be refunded. If the session had not been paid an invoice for the full amunt will follow. 

 

Bookings & Payments​

  1. You can book directly on the website by clicking here. You can also send a message through the Facebook page @themilkandoilcompany. I do prioritize the appointments that come through the website.

  2. A booking is not confirmed until you receive a Confirmation of Service message by The Milk & Oil Company.

  3. All cancellations must take place 24hrs before the allotted time of your session. Charges & fees apply for changes & cancellations with less than 24hrs notice. Covid related cancellations are free of charge based on an honor system (the client is truly being tested, quarantined, isolated or is showing symptoms). Mothers with babies under 12 months can cancel/change up to two times free of charge.

How to book: 

  1. Proceed to the Bookings Page.

  2. Select the tab for the location you would like to book at. You may choose between Under-Livet in Kjelsåsveien, Majorstua, At-Home Services & Online Services.

  3. Select the service of choice. You can find more information on each service by clicking on the service name or select "book now" to complete the process. 

  4. At the time of booking, you must provide your information for billing purposes.

  5. Please provide complete information for my records. Failure to do so may result on the booking being denied. 

  6. You can also select if you have a gift card. 

  7. Some sessions offer options within the main choice, for example if you choose a 45-minute massage you can choose between The Root or The Serenity, you may do so at the booking page. 

  8. Please fill out the necessary forms to provide the information I need for our session. If you missed filling out your form upon booking you can find the form below each service description on the HELP page. 

  9. All sessions must be paid at the time of the appointment.

  10. The Website accepts online card payments, PayPal or manual bookings which must be paid to Vipps to #613290.

  11. Last minute bookings can be made up to 30 minutes before the session begins & must be paid in advance by Stripe, Paypal or Vipps (613290) to be guaranteed.

  12. Promotions may come with other payment rules that will be indicated at the time of booking.

  13. The time of the session will be indicated in your booking. Please arrive on time as there might be other bookings before or after you.

Booking with a GIFT CARD

  1. You can book directly on the website by clicking here

  2. Choose the Service of choice that matches your gift card. 

  3. Proceed to check out.

  4. Upon check-out you will be presented with the option to indicate you have a GIFT CARD and a space to provide more information or comments. 

  5. Choose from the options presented to you & fill out any forms needed for your session. 

  6. You can upgrade your session by paying any difference in the price. You can indicate this on the comment page or at the time of your session. You will then be billed for the remaining amount.

  7. If you choose a session of less value than that of your gift card, you forfeit the remaining value of your card.

  8. Proceed to payment and choose a manual payment.

 The Covid 19 Stuff

  1. The COVID-19 regulations for 1:1 services require a 30 minute window between clients to avoid two people meeting at the same time in a small space, & for the therapists to have time to clean and disinfect. 

  2. Face masks are available for the customer but they are not compulsory anymore, I however will wear a mask during our session. 

  3. All linens are washed at 60 degrees & changed between each client.

  4. All surfaces are disinfected regularly & the space is aired between clients.
